Our Research Scholar

Chok Tenzin Monlam is our research scholar at Delhi University, who agreed in 2000, to carry out his doctoral research on Bodong Panchen Chogley Namgyal’s contribution on Buddhism and Tibetan culture. Even many experts on Tibetan Buddhism have little awareness of the Bodong tradition and we hope that this research will help to make it better known. In addition to this, Chok’s research is proving very helpful to the Bodong Research and Publication Centre, and he will be an important resource person for our tradition in the future. Chok has a strong foundation of knowledge in Buddhist philosophy, as well as Tibetan and English language. His research costs are being met by Marlies Kornfield.
